My opinion, yes it does matter becouse of the 1080p resolution TV 3D what i own.
Alan Wake give much blurry pixels on my TV screen, good game with bad resolution.
What he mention is, that game itself grafichs/visual and ligting effect are far better than Halo and so a Halo killer terms of technical.
But if we speak about online or gameplay, thats a another story and Halo is femous about online and the huge fanbase of Halo is very big instead of Crysis.
